WCH WORKS WITH GOVERNMENT AGENCY - GSA
WCH Accomplishments

GSA – General Services Administration – is a government agency established in 1949. The agency tasked with managing government buildings and real estate, providing supplies and services. GSA consolidated of several organizations, responsible each for separate type of operations.

Previously GSA kept a stockpile of strategic supplies in wartime, dispose was surplus goods, manage and store government records, handle emergency preparedness. GSA also regulated sale of office supplies to federal agencies and managed some unusual operations, such as hemp plantations in South America.

Today, GSA provides supplies/services and workspaces for more than 1 million federal civilian workers, oversees the preservation of more than 480 historic buildings.

GSA also provides consumer protection – special web portal, where people can file a complaint and Kids portal, which contains information about primary, secondary and higher education, military colleges and academies, libraries and archives, resources for teachers, financial aid and management of student loans.

GSA connects consumers and providers through the huge database, where each providing company lists the available services and the pricelist for them.

To get a contract with GSA is a great opportunity for a company. There are many potential clients that cannot contact supplier/provider directly. All of their needs satisfy with supplies and services provided by GSA contractors only. The opened perspective means a lot of work to be done and WCH is happy to be involved in this.

Our long way to get this contract began almost 2 years ago.  Through 1 year and 8 months WCH did its best to get approved by GSA. They conducted a company background review, financial verification and reviewed our billing manual. There was an interview with GSA directors. They also examined our internal processes and the reimbursement rate we offer to clients.

Most GSA contracts require a company to be in business for at least two years and show revenue of at least $25,000 per year. Other contracts require specific skills and experience (especially in technical and service contracts). WCH met the requirements and now is ready to work hard for the benefit of our country, our people.

We included in our pricelist services we are best in – billing services, credentialing, auditing. We realize these new opportunities and it inspires us to move forward, to get better, to develop and help people every, every single day!
