Among clever and talented people of WCH team we have a young doctor to be. Camila works in WCH and studies at the same time. Currently she is the sixth-year medical student of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute. So far, she has completed scientific courses including Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, Histology, Radiology, Critical Care and Emergency Medicine, Neonatology, Neurology, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Oncology and Surgery.
Camila says: “Medicine is my future, and I sincerely strive to help people and feel the strength to master this challenging profession.”
She works at WCH Service Bureau as Electronic Health Record Advisor: “I really like to be a representative of WCH in communication and try to help providers with all my knowledge every day. I know how busy they are and they don’t have time to delve into numerous documents and updates, so I explain them the issue right there and right when it comes up.”
Besides explaining EHR features/options, Camila also helps providers to understanding importance of Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA), Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and Alternative Payment Model (APM): “I like to be helpful and guide them on this. Busy person can easily miss a tiny detail, although this is a really important thing. So I remind them on regular basis because this is for their benefit. I believe electronic storages and telemedicine will be prevalent in future.” A new option for “Package A” subscribers – consultations from Camila on reporting proper codes for MACRA programs.
Also Camila consults providers regarding recent WCH project – Health Guard Alliance (HGA), which aimed to keep and provide all patient's medical records so the data will be available in case of emergency. Learn more at www.hgamn.com
