For the calendar year 2021, Original Medicare fee-for-service (FFS) will be responsible for covering COVID-19 vaccine administration for HF Medicare Advantage plan members.
For Medicaid Managed Care, Personal Wellness Plan, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, and Commercial Health Insurance Plans
Healthfirst covers the cost of administering COVID-19 vaccines. However, the federal government covers the cost of the vaccine.
Non-participating providers will be reimbursed.
