Waiver of Co-payments with Indigent Patients, Deductibles, and Co-Insurance

Today we want to raise the frequently asked questions.  

First of all: Сan a provider refuse extra payments and/or deductibles if the patient is responsible for them under the health insurance contract but is classified as indigent?  

Another equally important question: If a patient is an employee of a not-for-profit organization, may a healthcare provider waive applicable co-payments or establish a different fee scale to make services more affordable?
